Flower and Willow: Their Room: Morning May. 5th, 2005 @ 06:29 am
Rolling awake as if it was simply time and she had no control to sleep any longer, Willow opened her eyes and yawned, untangling her legs from Flower who was kind of hot and sticky under this blanket. It occurred to her then that she'd been awoken by her need to go to the little girls room, but she was in no real rush, she could at least wake up and get moving. She felt better today, she noted, though her back still kind of hurt, and now she felt kind of fat, like her body had swollen in the night. Oh gosh, had it?!

Pushing herself up, Willow scrambled to get out of the bed, pulling the sheets back with such a force they uncovered Flower and woke her up, but the pad below Willow was the same as last night, plain and unblemished. Racing out of the room, ignoring anything Flower was saying, Willow didn't navigate the decorations blocking off the direct path from one side of the Mall to the other. Instead, she made her way around them quickly, passing behind the Phoenix statue and straight around the other side, down to the bathroom, her bare feet slapping against the cold, hard floor of the Mall.

As she entered the ladies room, Willow dashed into a stall and frantically checked, as if her clothes were on fire. Nothing. Not a sign of anything, maybe Salene was wrong! Maybe Willow was dying! She should go to the doctor and get him to help her, cause Willow didn't want to die, and if he was a doctor he could help her. When she'd finished her business, it was at the end that she got the sign she was looking for, faintly, but she saw it there. She was so confused. Exiting the stall, Willow walked to the mirror above the sink and washed her hands, turning her face side to side, trying to see if she'd somehow blown up in any way over night. Nothing. She just felt fat, she didn't look any different.

Padding back to her room, this time the long way, Willow sighed and reentered, looking kind of forlorn. What would she do? She'd talk to Anna later, but right now she was hungry, starved actually, and she wanted to go up and see what was for breakfast. "Flower? Wake up," she grumped, "Let's go see what's for breakfast, come on," she didn't even want to bother getting dressed yet, eating, that's what she was after.

Willow:Watching Zombie Movie:Music Room:Sammy/[Anna] Dec. 19th, 2004 @ 04:32 am
Willow flew down the stairs from the Café so quickly she stumbled over a few stairs, the tears slipping over her cheeks and blurring her vision, thankfully she didn't trip, the last thing she needed to do was make a complete jerk out of herself. Already sort of did that though, didn’t I? She was so confused, she was so upset and confused and angry. Her emotions were taking her on a roller coaster ride and she couldn’t explain it, she had never before in her life dealt with these things, never, and she didn’t know what to do, or who she could talk to. She wouldn’t talk to Anna, not now, not with her boyfriend hanging onto her, attached at the hip practically. Forget her nails, she didn’t want them painted anyway!

She ran under the flower canopy into a forest, it was, well it was gorgeous, but it only confused her more as she reached the bottom of the stairs. This was, it was incredible, and it made her stop to take a deep breath, wiping the tears from her cheeks, she almost felt at home once more! They had transformed the downstairs into a forest of sorts, and, peeking her head through an opening, she saw that they had stretched the canopy all across the bottom edge of the second floor railing, across so that it was hovering over the landing between the floors. It was intense, and if birds had started to sing, she’d feel like she was hallucinating.

A volunteer almost ran into her and she jumped back, “So…sorry,” she said in a half whisper, turning around, which door was her room again? Ugh, she shared that room with Flower now, why had she agreed to that? The last thing she wanted to see was Flower or Anna or anyone. She didn’t want to be told she was misbehaving, or to have someone “try and figure it out”, she didn’t know why, how could talking help? She found her room once more, and quickly retrieved her book, Sarah, Plain and Tall, and moved around to that small room she and Flower had found Mouse and Brady in this morning, sitting herself down on the couch, curling up into a ball, and losing herself in the book.

Willow and Flower Go To Sleep (Well..Kind Of) Jul. 21st, 2004 @ 11:16 pm
Willow led Flower away from the room with the sink in it, pausing to wave over her shoulder at Kerry in the other room, and right to the stairs, starting down them. She was embarrassed, but she still wasn't even sure why. Why was her face burning red? Why had Flowers only slightly accusatory tone mortified her? Willow didn't stop until they were back downstairs, now standing in front of the row of bedrooms they now lived in, trying to remember which room had been designated for Flower and Anna. Willow took a chance and entered the room next to hers on the left, sighing with relief as she noticed a couple of Anna's things. She whirled around on Flower, her eyes big, flustered, and babbled out, "Oh my gosh, I'm so embarrassed, why did you have to say it like that?!"

Willow:In Her Room:Journal Entry May. 6th, 2004 @ 09:06 pm
Willow closed her book, she honestly couldn't read, it was too quiet, too still in this room, even though she could hear talking coming from the stairs. It sounded like an excited little girl, the one who had been waving at them from the second floor she supposed. Willow was curious, she couldn't help herself, and she placed her book on the bookshelf and stood up, walking over to the doorway and peeking out. The little girl was almost to the top of the stairs with Patsy, and Salene was kneeling in front of the little girl who had been leaning over the railing with the little girl, what had Salene called them? Mouse and...Brandy? Willow shook her head and moved back into the room designated as her very own, how strange, and that Flower and Anna had to share and she didn't, she felt guilty about that for whatever unknown reason. Willow flopped down on the bed, her head on the pillow, looking up at the ceiling and wondering what was above her, who lived up there? She could tell this had once been a store, it just looked like what she remembered of the Mall, it felt so strange to be living here now.

She rolled over and pulled her backpack towards her, going through the things in it, she was supposed to give some of this to the Tribe, but maybe she'd give it directly to Ryan, just incase. Willow wasn't sure they would even feed her here, they were their own Tribe, maybe this was just a stop off for a short while until they all went back to their house, she didn't know, and she didn't want to risk giving away their food when they wouldn't be welcomed to eat with these..Mall..Rats. Yes, Mall Rats. She pulled her journal from her bag and the pen from the coil of the spiral spine and opened it to a fresh page.

Journal Entry:Day 16 )

Willow picked up her journal and walked over to the bookshelf, tucking it behind the books on the shelf, out of sight. It wasn't that she didn't want anyone to read it, she really had nothing to hide, but it was her private thoughts she generally didn't share with anyone, and she wasn't about to make it any easier on Macy to get blackmail material on her. She moved back to her armchair, curling up again and picking up her book, opening it with a sigh before she began reading the chapter she'd just skimmed through again.
